We are all call into the service of the Lord as a child of God, who dedicates their life into the Lord Service as Christian of this time.PURPOSE OF BEEN IN THE LORD SERVICE.To worship God and to glorify him on the earth. Eph. 1: 4-6. We love what we worship and we worship what we love, our worship of God springs from our fellowship with God, as a father, God desires to fellowship with his family. He wants and wait for us to response to his Holy love with our prayer, praise and worship. When we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us James 4: 8. It must be our practice to minister into the Lord by our worship; we welcomed God into our everyday world. His holy presence in our midst was the source of our Spiritual life.To witness constantly Acts 1: 8. On the issue of witness everyone will need to understand this. The plan – what will be done, the purpose – why it will be done, the procedure – How it will be done, the people – who will do it, the place – where it will be done. The programme – when it will be done. Jesus told his disciples that at the end of the age, the world would face a time of great distress and difficulty, fear, hatred and greed would cause the nation of the world to war against one another the “last day” will be dark days in deed Matt. 24, Luke 21. “Darkness as black as night shall cover all the people of the earth, but the glory of the Lord will shine from you”. Isaiah 60: 2.To evangelized the world with the gospel Matt. 28: 19- 20 Effective ways to spread the gospel. By bringing people to our church, like Andrew brought his brother peter to Jesus John 1: 40- 42. By organizing a Bible Class in your home for the children on your street to know the word of God. Try to use your talents to teach a Sunday School Class. By being a Counselor or helper. By the use of good tracts. By giving food to the hungry, water to the thirsty, clothes to the naked, visiting jails Matt. 25: 34- 36. By organizing and leading a prayer group in your home and in the church of God to pray for Revival. By doing what you can, as best as you can, all the time.Our rewards. We have many rewards as we are in the Lord Service. Both on this earth and in heaven, physically and spiritually. This is parts of our reward. Jesus will take us there when he returns John 14: 1-4, 1 Thess. 4: 17. There is crowns for soul winners 1 Thess. 2: 19 the crown of Joy. To inherit all things Rev. 21: 7. To shine as the stars Dan. 12: 3. To be glorified with Christ Rev. 8: 17- 18. Try to be part in the Lord Service , so that you can move away from spiritual dryness. I pray for us to be rapturable at last day.
